Tips

Tips for Traditional

Try to get as many photos done before the ceremony, but save older relatives for after.
This is a great option if you have the ceremony & reception in the same location, or if you want to be a part of the cocktail hour and most of the reception.
Always take advantage of the sunset portraits. This is the best light and one of the only downfalls of the first look.

Let your guest know that cocktail hour will be starting an hour after the wedding ends by putting on your invitation a reception start time (cocktail hour to follow). If you've already made invites, consider extending your cocktail hour 30 more minutes. Be sure to order more food.
Utilize the sunset & night shots for just the two of you. These shoots are only 5-10 minutes long and will create a unique gallery for you both.

Couple w/ 1's maternal Grandparents
Couple w/ 1's immediate family
Couple w/ 1's parents

Couple w/ Both sets of parents
Couple w/ 2's parents
2 with Parents
Couple w/ 2's immediate family
Couple w/ 2's paternal Grandparents
Couple w/ 2's maternal grandparents
Couple w/ Flower girl and Ring bearer
Couple w/ Ushers

We recommend to keep them at a minimum. Definitely include the portraits you'd want to include in an album or hang on the wall in the future, but don't feel pressured by family members to take more than you want. We've found from the past that most couples only use the images that include both of the couple but if you want to do any individual images please include that in your questionnaire. We want you to have the best experience, so any additional images requested by anyone (other than you) are taken at the reception. We want to get you both to your reception as soon as we can so you can celebrate with your guests!

Please ask family member to be 15 minutes early to the scheduled time so we can start right away. This list would take approximately 15 minutes after all lights are set up, or once we are at the outdoor location.
