Wear what makes you feel beautiful. Patterns/solids, Neon/neutral colors- it doesn't matter. If you feel beautiful in what you are wearing you are more than likely going like the pictures. My goal is to make every everyone feel comfortable.
Keeping that in mind, if you still want some advice for slimming clothes, here's a list to consider:
Heels lengthen your legs
Where the outfit ends (skirt, shorts, or sleeves) will make that part of your body look slightly bigger.
Bold patterns & bright colors on clothing will draw attention to that part of the body.

Like hair, I highly recommend a make-up artist. I even do this personally with all of our family portraits. It makes a world of difference.
If you plan on doing your own make up, apply your makeup like you normally would, but just a tad heavier on the eyes and lips. Eyeliner and a good mascara are a must. You might also pack the basics and bring them with you on the shoot, in case you need a quick touch up.
Be sure to moisturize your lips well before your photo shoot. Dry, cracked lips are really hard to touch up later in the pictures.
If you wear glasses, they could reflect light and cause glare and shadows across your eyes. Editing out glare and shadows takes an enormous amount of time and is very expensive. Consider talking to your optometrist. In some cases, your doctor will have a spare of your frames. Be sure to schedule this out a few weeks before the shoot to ensure any shipping or changes that will need to be made. We want to make sure you look like you, so we are flexible with whatever you want for the shoot.
I highly recommend a hairstylist, especially if you typically don't style your hair. The day of your shoot is a perfect time to schedule your trial run for the wedding. Give your stylist a few hours before the shoot. Your hair can be pulled down with gorgeous curls for the shoot if you don't want your "to-be" spouse to see you with your wedding hair style. From personal experience, having the professionals take care of these things can leave you feeling a lot less stressed for the shoot.

We recommend a least 6 months from your wedding if you are planning on sending save the dates, and no more than 3 months if you are planning on including an image on your invite. If possible, plan your shoot at least one month from your wedding.
Depending on the number of location, time of day, and outfit changes. Your session should last between 1 hour and 1 hour and 30 minutes. We recommend no more than 3 outfits for the time allowed, unless it's a quick slip on, like a sports jersey. On average, our couples stick with 1 or 2.
We will travel anywhere, but some additional fees might be added. We will travel 60 miles out of Noblesville for a session without extra cost. Our travel fee is low in most cases so don't be afraid to ask.
We will reschedule the shoot if the weather restricts us from doing what we originally planned on doing. If for any reason we traveled far for the session, we'll have a back up plan and have some beautiful indoor shots. Shoots must be rescheduled no later than 24 hours in advance.
We try to make are shoots fun and about you both. You practice so much of the day, even your entire ceremony. We want to make sure we practice one of the most important details of the wedding, the photos. All we want to do is get to know you both better. Take the stress off it being a shoot and just say it's a “practice.”
Absolutely! We know you love your fur babies and they are a big part of your life. Be sure to bring a friend or family member who can watch the pet(s) while we finish up your engagement.
This is our first shoot together and possibly your first professional shoot ever. If you have questions, you might find answers here. It will also help you prepare for what to expect.
